At Elevated Workplace Safety, we are dedicated to providing effective health and safety training, information, & resources throughout the Province of Ontario.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive occupational health and safety services that ensures all workplace parties are safe & productive.
Elevated Workplace Safety is an approved program & training provider through Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, & Skills Development's Chief Prevention Officer. This course provides theory & practical exercises, outlining the Provincial expectations in the OHSA, & applicable Regulations.
The Working at Heights Refresher Course is available to eligible trainees to maintain Provincial certification. Successful completion of the Full Course is a pre-requisite.
A review of the theory principles & practical exercises are discussed & evaluated within this course.
The Elevated Work Platform training reviews safe operating guidelines, potential hazards, functionality, controls, fuel sources, & stability principles. OHSA, CSA, & ANSI Regulations are reviewed throughout.
Learners complete pre-operational inspections, followed by practical testing on a scissor &/or boom lift(s).
The Forklift training reviews safe operating guidelines, potential hazards, fuel sources, personnel lifting, docks, elevators, & stability principles. OHSA, CSA, Federal Legislation, & ANSI Regulations are reviewed throughout.
Learners complete pre-operational inspections, followed by practical testing on a forklift.
The Telehandler training reviews safe operating guidelines, potential hazards, fuel sources, & stability principles. OHSA, CSA, Federal Legislation, & ANSI Regulations are reviewed throughout.
Learners complete pre-operational inspections, followed by practical testing on a telehandler.
The Confined Space Awareness training provides a full outline of the Provincial expectations as documented in the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Ontario Regulation 632/05.
The course includes theory review, followed by a final exam completed by the learner to verify knowledge & understanding of content discussed.
Lockout/Tagout training provides a full guideline of how to safely lockout & tag energized equipment & machinery. Review of common hazards & workplace responsibilities are also discussed.
Learners complete a theory review, followed by a final exam to verify knowledge & understanding of content discussed.
WHMIS 2015 includes the Globally Harmonized System. Discussions include a breakdown of the pictograms, workplace responsibilities, the classification system, SDS' review, Signal Words, & more.
